Has anyone fitted a Wideband AFR air fuel gauge to an S4 or RS4?

Not a direct help, but I fitted the AEM unit to my TT - great bit of kit and very accurate...

I dont have the gauge but I use a LM-1 AF logger. The boost gauge is the only one I wanted to install and I dont even have time to look at it when I go WOT on normal roads. I bet you'll have trouble trying to take a look at the AF gauge too.
Good thing about the LM-1 is that you can get an kit with which has lots of other data also. check innovative lm-1 from google. they have also an gauge kit which is a bit cheaper.

Given all the mods on the car (the TT that is - 2.1 conversion, injectors, air flow stuff, fueling) I thought it wasn't a bad idea to at least have some flashing lights that would go red if something bad was happening
But I wanted it in real time - I didn't want to be able to review how lean we'd gone after the engine had gone bang!

I still have some trust on motronic7 to cut boost or throttle or add fuel if things start to look too wild, which they have a couple of times ; )clived wrote:Given all the mods on the car (the TT that is - 2.1 conversion, injectors, air flow stuff, fueling) I thought it wasn't a bad idea to at least have some flashing lights that would go red if something bad was happeningBut I wanted it in real time - I didn't want to be able to review how lean we'd gone after the engine had gone bang!
But nothing wrong in having an extra red light to come up when passing a trigger value.

Good point. How did you get round the two downpipe issue that ruled the AEM out in your mind?
And how will you live without a swinging LED gauge
