If you run that valve you will get limp mode and throttle cut. It's a POS on the S4 so I would guess
the same on the RS4.
ECS RACE N75 Valve
Re: ECS RACE N75 Valve
Guys, you can just adjust the screw on the standard N75 to achieve the same !! I'm sure that's what they've done!zeke wrote:Have anybody install this type of valve on the RS4?

Re: ECS RACE N75 Valve
No, it's not what they have done. The ECS Race valve is not adjustable. Idodgydave wrote:Guys, you can just adjust the screw on the standard N75 to achieve the same !! I'm sure that's what they've done!zeke wrote:Have anybody install this type of valve on the RS4?

think it's the valve from the 2.2 5 cylinder turbo in RS2 guise. You can
adjust the stock valve but it's not recommended as it's pretty easy to
fubar. If you want more boost get a remap.

Re: ECS RACE N75 Valve
well, I've adjusted the screw. It's a bit of a twiddle but it works. But I've still got a brand new RS2 N75. I'll try that sometime and let you know how it went.JonnyX wrote:No, it's not what they have done. The ECS Race valve is not adjustable. I would say that if you are getting a remap then you don't need to changedodgydave wrote:It won't work without a remap or clamping the MAP if you run standard software.JonnyX wrote:If you run that valve you will get limp mode and throttle cut. It's a POS on the S4 so I would guess

the valve at all anyway. You just change the duty cycle which is part of the
map. As you say, you could clamp the MAP but thats a bit drastic for most
people and I am not sure what impact that would have on the rest of the
car
