ECS RACE N75 Valve

If you run that valve you will get limp mode and throttle cut. It's a POS on the S4 so I would guess
the same on the RS4.

Guys, you can just adjust the screw on the standard N75 to achieve the same !! I'm sure that's what they've done!

No, it's not what they have done. The ECS Race valve is not adjustable. I
think it's the valve from the 2.2 5 cylinder turbo in RS2 guise. You can
adjust the stock valve but it's not recommended as it's pretty easy to
fubar. If you want more boost get a remap.

well, I've adjusted the screw. It's a bit of a twiddle but it works. But I've still got a brand new RS2 N75. I'll try that sometime and let you know how it went.

It won't work without a remap or clamping the MAP if you run standard software.

I would say that if you are getting a remap then you don't need to change
the valve at all anyway. You just change the duty cycle which is part of the
map. As you say, you could clamp the MAP but thats a bit drastic for most
people and I am not sure what impact that would have on the rest of the
car
