skylline gtr weight 3300 lbs at most compere to our 4000 lbs rs4 thats 700 lbs less ,and you are talking 650 whp not bhp ,my car makes about 700 awhp right now so its only a 50 whp diferance give or takeBladerider wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:58 amFair enough,
Dont want to come across as a nob on a thread thats actually of something interesting, but theres something very off about those times in a car with 850bhp, those are comparable to trap speeds of 650bhp GTRs (old RB engined ones) with similar weight, grip and dynamics.
Interested to see more as you post.
Im guessing Pauter rods ??
my turbos are capable to flow enought for 1200 whp, everything is already done on my car, fueling ect....all i need is to swap the built motor in and start tuning it for for more boost
yes ,i already ran the stock engine till 9500 rpm a few times to check and loged my oil pressure and its all goodSurrey Sam wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:03 amNice seeing a built engine, you sticking with the wet sump?
Pressure should be fine, I'd have been tempted to Knife Edge the crank if sticking with the wet sump setup.m2motortechnik wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:28 amyes ,i already ran the stock engine till 9500 rpm a few times to check and loged my oil pressure and its all goodSurrey Sam wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:03 amNice seeing a built engine, you sticking with the wet sump?![]()
you dont need to there is baffle plate in thoes motor ,the crankshaft doesnt splash into oil, audi thought of everything on thoes motorsSurrey Sam wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:33 amPressure should be fine, I'd have been tempted to Knife Edge the crank if sticking with the wet sump setup.m2motortechnik wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:28 amyes ,i already ran the stock engine till 9500 rpm a few times to check and loged my oil pressure and its all goodSurrey Sam wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:03 amNice seeing a built engine, you sticking with the wet sump?![]()
the crank assembly got fully balanced for the new weight of the rods and pistonsSurrey Sam wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:51 amA little knifing would also balance out the reciprocal mass from installing your other lightweight components. Small gains, but still. It looks pretty.
not much videos but here is two, this is still on stock motor and 13 psi
