MRC Smashed it again :)

Post by Shaners4 » Sun Jun 01, 2014 9:14 am

Well as most of you all know my B7 saloon was running a shocking 332bhp on a dyno dynamics a month back! Done a lot of research and decided to throw some money at her and take her to MRC to get sorted. What a difference :bigblink:

It was currently running at 350PS and 436Nm on their dyno machine.

It pulls like a bloody train now I cant believe the difference!
It had a Carbon Clean
Remap
Deflap inlet manifold
Remove precats
Undoubtably it did cost me a lot of money but in my eyes was worth it. Top fellas well done :audibash:

Currently now at 430PS and 474Nm

Jesus they coin it in. Circa 2k? I seriously want this doing at some point. But a house purchase is looming :-s

Nice work

Nice one Shane - great difference. Great figures. Very much the same with mine. A train is about right!

They have years of experience and total steadfast results - they charge appropriately for a guaranteed result. I'm not sure they coin it in, but so much as the right money for the right result... :thumb:

I know exactly the difference you describe, they got mine from 343 to 431 last year. Awesome isn't it! :-)

Do they give much advice on maintaining the power or advise how long you can expect it to last before it needs cleaning again?

Apart from regular 'Italian Tuning' - and proper use, do they give any other recommendations?

wow nice torque just looking at my roller graph and I have around 100nm less than you despite having a decoke and a stage one.

Does pre cat removal and a stage two open up 100nm torques? I may invest if thats the case

Regy53 - I would say absolutely or very near that. The pre cats rob the 4 of any decent power. Stage 2 with the pre cats gone would give you easily or close to 100nm...

I was at 370nm with precats gone. Then Decoke, deflap and stage 2 took me to 483nm...

That Silas speaks the truth - I didn't see the signature spec.

Sorry Reg, take the AMD map off and see how MRC's map goes...

cheers fella's

I diddnt do the AMD remap i purchased the car from this forum only last week.

I think I will book this in with MRC.

Out of question as I have a non Res exhaust, is the exhaust louder after precat removal?

I would say not - the two rear back boxes manage the sound...
