Yep, good to know what kind of outlay one would be looking at should the turbo fairy pay a visit :)

You would change the clutch when the engine is out anyway and the EGTs are relatively inexpensive so it's probable not much worse than the Turbos going on their own.

Yes very true. But it still sucks, as I cant drive the car.

The EGT's sill working but Intermittant. The turbo's working but screaming like a banshee for the last 8000 miles so they gonna pop soon. The clutch just decided to start slipping about 6 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago decided it needed to be parked up.

So main issues is the clutch. In a way its a lucky escape. I was goign to do the EGT (Dreaded passenger side one), and drive the car for a bit. Because clutch is gone, Ill have to get the whole lot done at once. Far easier.

The minimum you need to do to get 400bhp is:

ko4 turbos
ko4 lower turbo inlet pipes
gut precats
catback exhaust
injectors
remap
rs4 clutch

You will get 400 on stock intercoolers and stock fuel pump - although as said, you are getting close to the limits of them.

a stock s4 clutch will not last long with 400bhp.

Mine should set me back £3k by the time i'm done which covers KO4's, RS4 intake pipes, RS4 clutch, injectors, fuel pump, RS4 IC's, custom MRC map. Exhaust already been sorted although doing bigger down pipes. All work apart from the map i'm doing myself (including pulling the engine) so save a fair bit of labour charge which i just couldn't afford on top of the upgrades.

Little OT but can and/or will MRC make a custom remap by just sending the ECU and a list of mods made in the car?

I've just emailed them as well, to ask for a quote on a MRC 500 kit.

Hope they check their emails...

Id guess price depends on anything else that needs fixed especially after the turbo fairys visited.
Im going 500ish, but with a lot of extra work done so thats irrelevant.
