Which diverter valves are you using?
slightly off topic but possibly relevent..MarkB has deleted his 249N valve which i believe electronically restricts the DV's from working normally..?
he says he can now hear his valves working so i think it would be good to get some1 that has none OEM valves to try this to see if they work better like his 710's are..just a thought..

I can't get over how well the car is running now, but I've done quite a few things to it recently. Each doing a little bit towards the better running

I've got Hyperboost HX standard size DVs, but with uprated Forge blue springs - serviced pretty regularly.
Have new 710Ns as well, and tried them on the car a couple of times, but i prefer the feel of the car with the Hyperboosts, especially on gear changes when on boost (mine seem to open smoothly and shut quickly) ... I also have the N249 delete ...
As an aside - i did some experimentation on the 710Ns by repeatedly pushing on the piston to open the valve and letting it snap shut - there were a few times when it didn't snap shut properly and stayed slightly open (the piston seemed to close at a slight angle - not flush with the valve aperture) - you could blow through the valve - in effect a boost leak! ... it would then close again properly after the next time it was pushed open.
When I repeated the experiment with the Hyper HX's they snapped completely shut every single time without exception, creating an air-tight seal (couldn't blow through the valve at all) - they also seemed to snap shut quicker than the 710Ns ...
Given the amount of times your DVs are opening and shutting during an average journey I thought i'd go with the HXs ...!
More expensive yes - but well worth it IMHO ...

Deus ex machina
Forge on mine...dunno which ones though...they were on the car when I bought it. Reminds me, it must be time to replace the pistons and seals.
