How did you manage to get plain disc's. Have you gone RS6 on the disc? You'll need the caliper brackets to suit...

Are they being fitted for you by the supplying company?

They'll be fitted by Quatronics, they're the supplier.

Disc's are Phaeton one's ;). I don;t like cross drilled disc's as i seem to crack them, well i did on the Evo with the 330mm AP 6 pot's

If it needs bracket's then i presume that Quatronics will either have them made or order (if poss) accordingly

No not the disc's in the pic - hence the bit in the first post about 'RS4 Setup but with plan discs and braided line's allround' :P

Puzzeled why you went for the Phaeton 364x32 mm discs rather than the cheaper 335x34mm plain RS6 discs with custom caliper mounts ?

The V8 RS4 discs are cast with the holes in rather than drilled, they do crack but only when worn close to wear limits

Because the 335's aren't 364's - i like'd the feel of the RS4's brakes when i took one out so i decided to have thm on my car. I didn't like the feel of the same caliper but with smaller discs on th RS6 when i took that out . :)

That's as maybe, but, the AP disc's are manurfactured in the same way and on a smaller(slightly), lighter more powerfull car (Evo6 RS) i still managed to crack the disc's and they were 'as new'.
Only 0.14mm wear on both font disc's according to AP Racing.
And yes, they were bedded in correctly - warmed up gently and cooled correctly on evry occasion ! :(

With this on mind, why would i risk an extra bill or create more warraty issues by chancing having the RS4 drilled disc's when i'm more than happy with the Phaeton versions?? :?

........ohh and they match the rear plain disc's too now  :)

I think Philip meant to say 365mm RS6 disc's. The phaeton disc's are thinner and slightly smaller diameter. The RS6 disc's probably didn't feel as good because of the extra weight or may have been worn.

Phaeton discs are floating discs (as in the neu RS4) but are not cross drilled, they measure 365x34mm, anyone care to argue?

Do you care to supply a part number?

I am unable to find a 365 mm disc for the Phaeton in Ekta not that 1 mm matters that much. Just a matter of principal.
