no water to rear wiper
Flickr (http://www.flickr.com) is pretty good for free photo hosting although you'll probably have to hyperlink to thier pages.GregorFuk wrote:Okay so I've fixed the problem. If anybody can recommend a good picture hosting site I'll post some picks and write a short description.
Else if you want to compress and send the photos to me I can just put them up on my webspace and you can link to them directly.
PM me if you want to.

Okay A few pics for you and a short description.
Step one.
Remove the kick panel at the side of the passengers foot well, an easy job as it's just two philips self tappers holding it on.
Step two.
Once the panel is removed you'll see a mass of wires but pull them aside and in the corner you should find the black ribbed hose that feeds the rear wiper. The hose comes in sections and as you can see from the picture there is a join in the foot well. Obviously with the cold weather my rear washer has frozen up, by actuating the pump the pressure has built up and popped the two sections apart.
Step three.
I popped the two sections back together then to make sure they'd stay connected in future I used three zip-ties to pull the two sections together, a rough but 'hopefully' permanent fix.
Step four.
Keep the screen wash/ anti freeze concentration high in the washer bottle. Resist the temptation to use the rear wash wipe in sub zero temps.
Hope this helps

Well it's been a busy mouse.
I found this thread and had noticed my rear wash wipe stopped a week or 2 ago. Sure enough, water is leaking but it's dripping from the rear wheel arch. Seems to be running around the inside of the wheel arch and dripping where the arch meets the bumper.
I've had the wheel off but can't get access to the pipes and no joy on the interior so far either.
Any ideas are gratefully received !!
