The 1st one sounds like water infiltration into the can bus module under the passenger side carpet. Check for blocked drains and wet carpet. I can't see it being anything else.

The 2nd one could be related to the first, or might indicate a dead engine mount. Can be changed relatively easily or left alone. I remember seeing a connector you could buy to fool the ECU into thinking it was still working.

Personally I'd replace it. If they bothered to go to the trouble of putting active engine mounts in, then I'd make sure it works :thumbs:

They did put a few things into the RS6 that are questionable at best though :audibash:
B7 RS4 saloon Misano red, comfy seats, JHM tune & JHM full exhaust with cats and resonators - gone.
C5 RS6 Avant Daytona/Cognac - gone.
