Hi, everybody

has everone ever tried 275/35/19 size? On our roads is important the sideheight. It looks not too bad:

I think the increase in overall diameter of 14mm could cause rubbing issues. The 275/30x19s come much closer to the wheelarches than the 255/35x19, and I think you might find the 275/35x19 might actually touch the wheelarches.

Well, given the width is the same, then this rubbing issue would only be down to the amount of suspension travel?

Bit worrying for anyone with 275's full stop - so are you sure this will cause an issue?

I thought that the 275's were 100% OK re rubbing, UNLESS you used spacers, and even then it seemed 10mm was still OK on the rear and 8mm on the front, but i will defer to those who have used them.

I have had it changed to the 275/30/19.....I seem to be getting a light vibration at high speeds. Have had the balancing done twice. I am not sure if this is what is expected or the tyre company just cant get it right?

peterpan is talking about 275/35's and NOT the 275/30s that we are all running...

I'm running the 275/30's myself with no problems at all even when fully loaded with wine after a trip to the Loire - but if you look at the attachment in peterpan's post you will see that the diameter of the 275/35's is 14mm BIGGER than the OE fit 255/35's but the 275/30's that we have is 23mm LESS.

So the 275/35s will have a 37mm greater diameter than we have - I'm almost certain that increase will mean they rub on the wheelarch - rmember the outer edge of the wheelarch dips down closer to the wheel.

You are getting the vibration now you have the 275/30/19's? Have ran mine for 6k miles now and no problems, feel a little choppy when cold but all F1's have doen that on all the cars I have run in the winter, absolutely fine when up to temperature and loads more grip than the OEM Conti's they have replaced.

I've driven @ BIG speeds (where you are allowed of course) with these tyres, and they are absolutely 'rock solid'...go to another tyre supplier & get them re-balanced again.
