Yes. I used to use it on my peugoet 106. Very good stuff - personally seen it save another engine (Citroen AX) from overheating on the dyno when we didn't notice the engine wan wasn't working and the coolant temp crept up to 140 degrees. Track days don't like this stuff at all though - some even ban it. It's mighty slippery and flammable. Certainly wouldn't want a coolant leak onto a hot exhaust manifold.

Question is: do you really have a problem with overheating? Even on track, your brakes would melt well before you got the B7 to overheat. It's also said that the cooling system needs to be optimised/built for waterless coolant. There are a bunch of other reasons but unless it's a modified car running at WOT or close to it for long periods of time (like a drift car), then this is probably a massive overkill, if not pointless.
No matter where you go, there you are.

In my previous case, it was a 1.6 litre engine developing over 450hp so was highly strung.

As you elude to, it's probably not worth it in a 'standard' car, even an RS.
