Rear discs.
Rear discs.
Does anyone know if there are alternatives to the std drilled discs.
I've gone down the Phaeton front disk route and I'm happy with them. I have noticed that you can get a 335mm rear disc for a Phaeton and was wondering if anyone know if the offset of the disc is the same as RS4 rears, then all I'd need to do is space out the rear calipers 10mm.
Any help or answers much appreciated.
Cheers
Mike

Re: Rear discs.
you bought an RS . nothing cheap here, could always do a A4 rear swap and have solid rear disks for about £80 quid
Re: Rear discs.
They are going to cost what they cost, I've no hassle with that. I just fancied non drilled/grooved discs to match the front. If not ill probably go down the standard disc route.

Is Tarox a good quality comparable disc to use?rwilsonrs4 wrote:the Tarox are more expensive but if the picture is correct they are floating(OEM rears are not ) and higher quality materials so woth the money i say
I was thinking of them with Yellow Stuff pads set up on the front as my discs are needing doing soon.
Front Tarox discs are £660.00 a pair, Fitting cost £50 and EBC yellowstuff pads are £189.00 for the set.
That's my quoted cost!!

Stoptech makes a nice set of two piece rear rotors that can be had in drilled, slotted or plain.
