I have bought parts from Lithuania.
Great guys to deal with.

I believe Faz gardener has headlights for sale.
Pm me your phone number or email.
I will ask him to contact you.
He is genuine and I can vouch for him as I have bought stuff from him.

I have one. I’ll need to check condition and going rate. PM me your phone number and I’ll get some pics together. 👍
Steve/Chris - I have PM'd you both individually. Thanks for your help.

You could always use Steve Green, probably has the biggest collection of spares in the UK just depends if he wants to part with one headlight or not.
I don't suppose you have any contact details for Steve Green? One of the breakers I called mentioned his name but didn't have a contact.

Hi ALE-RS6 Image (do you want to share your real name?)

I’m Craig Barlow, been in this group under various names over the last 10+ yrs - but Craig is my real name.

As a new member I recommend you also join some of the dedicated Facebook groups for these cars. But beware some groups are not as well managed as others and scammers are a massive problem these days. I am happy to help you and guide you, but I don’t know your name Image

Ben (Shoppinit) is correct you can use any V8 headlamp (smaller engined cars won’t fit). However… the facelift production year was 2001 and this is important because all RS6’s are facelift (2002 - 2004).

Pre-facelift lights will physically fit and function, but only have a 2.5” Hella projector lens. Facelift cars are fitted with a 3” lens and externally look different. Also remember that LHD cars have different headlamps to RHD. All headlamps have a lever inside which adjusts the beam for when you are driving in a different country temporarily, but ideally you want the headlamp for your country.

Brand new headlamps are still available from Audi Tradition, but if you are outside of Europe or in the UK it will be difficult to order from them. Price is currently 1310euros for RHD headlamps.

Feel free to shoot me a message on here or on Facebook messenger if you like Image
Hi Craig,

The names Aston :bigwave: Thanks for sharing the Facebook group, I will join this shortly. I was going to buy a standard light, but reading the above I may not need to now with a bit of luck!

The new Varta battery came yesterday which went in nicely meaning I could fire it up for the 2nd time since receiving it. I've ordered replacement control arms and track rod which should hopefully be with me tomorrow so that can be my weekend job (providing I can loosen the bolts!). I'm waiting to hear back from a couple of sellers on a front wing so should be able to sort that. All being well, I'll then take it to an audi specialist for full inspection/tracking before I look to send it in for an MOT/re-spray.

The car is a 2003 Audi RS6 Saloon in Mugello Blue, cream interior (alcantara inserts on the seats which i've not seen many of?), 97k on the clock. I'm hoping mechanically it's ok. It did come with service book stamped up to 94k :thumb:

This is my first car project and I have no prior experience, just learning as I go. Something i've wanted to do for while. We recently sold our '19 Audi S3 Black Ed Navarra Blue and since then something has been missing. That was a fantastic car and was faultless up until the day we parted with it. Put 64k on it using it daily, from new. It's still up for sale actually on Arnold Clark site https://www.arnoldclark.com/used-cars/a ... ci-u-69687.

Thanks for everyone's help thus far, it is appreciated.

I couldn't either. I assume it is due to have 3 saloon owners in the one place. It burst a hole in the space/time continuum!

Wow. Craig is clearly excited to see another Saloon owner! I cant even make out that message, it crashed the site!

I am in the UK also. I read somewhere that there was only 271 saloons originally sold in the UK? I was wondering if there's a way you can see how many are actually still on the road today?
