1 Fault Found:
18243 - Pressure Control Valve 5 (N233)
P1835 - 35-10 - Short to Plus - Intermittent
Not many causes for this.

Could be the solenoid valve that is failing (unlikely).

Could be the connector to the box which has a poor contact.

Could be the internal harness of the box (unlikely).

Could be a failing TCU. Or corroded connector to TCU. Check for water ingress under the carpet.
My guess is it’s a poor connection on the box. The box was serviced not long ago so they could have tampered with it in the process.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about it for now. Still worth checking the carpet underlay for wetness, though. It has to get really bad before it becomes obvious and there's a lot of electronic stuff under there that doesn't like to bathe.

Yeah I’ll check that out this week. Am I right in saying it’s under the drivers side carpet?

Can't remember, but check both sides because the CCM is the opposite side and that doesn't like to get wet either.

Keep the faith.
A good c5 is just amazing imo.
The looks. The drive. The performances. The comfort.
Nothing compares.

Ok I ran a auto scan today I will list them below, some of them I already knew about I.E the radio and parking sensors.
But if someone would mind shining some light on the others that would be good, mainly the auto box one.

Bingo, welcome to the 18243 club :( This has popped up a few times before I believe but I don't think anyones actually got to the bottom of it yet. One thing I know for sure is the gear selector switch {F125} won't fix it. I think Shop needs to come round and sort it for me :)

Yes it's under the drivers side {UK} carpet in a plastic box. TBH you would need a lot of water in the footwell for it to get in to the box.

Small update. I have replaced the headunit with something more up to date. And I also replaced the scratched buttons on my heater panel which makes such a difference.

Took it for a drive Saturday night and practically lost braking. Brake pedal has gone rock hard and the engine is idling at 2000rpm. Suspected vac leak. Stuck it in my unit tonight and took the covers off to see if I could see or hear anything with no luck so far.

Could be this......
Sounds like the same issue with mine. What guide did you follow?
What size blue pipe did you get? That seems like a god idea to replace all the vac hoses whilst the manifold is out.

Also can you tell me anything about the afterrun coolant pump?

Thanks

The main vac pipe to the master cylinder can fail. As can the master cylinder. I think Classik had this fairly recently.

Might be a red herring.
With mine it was the brake booster valve.
I went to brake at some traffic lights and I was almost stood up with the pressure I had on my brake pedal.
Another fault was a seized rear caliper which was overheating the brake fluid resulting in a loss of brakes.

Thankfully unit 20 sorted it out for me.
