Look at the readings from the sensors using the Vagcom. The readings should be approx 2.5V when the car is level.

If the aim is off then they are adjusted in the usual way (manually). The only thing the sensors do is adjust the level when the car detects the car is inclined.

Mine have been cable tied to be fixed for years. Think the motors went. Is that the same sensor that's the tip sensor used for holding onto a lower gear?

No, TCU takes input from the steering angle sensor for that. It also continuously calculates the differential between the engine load and the required output (accelerator pedal position, amongst others) to calculate when to change gear. The level sensors are only used for the headlight levelling.

If this is the first scan. I would clear them. Use the car. Then re scan and see what comes back.

Yeah first scan. All cleared then scanned the box and that code came straight back.

Not many causes for this.

Could be the solenoid valve that is failing (unlikely).

Could be the connector to the box which has a poor contact.

Could be the internal harness of the box (unlikely).

Could be a failing TCU. Or corroded connector to TCU. Check for water ingress under the carpet.

If we can get some decent positioning data I’ll put it on the FAQ. Front badge is easy enough from press photos. Rear a bit more tricky.
Yeah rear is going to be a pain.

This is my front badge, looks like the clip has been ground off

This looks completely different to a badge I bought recently for mine.

Mine looks exactly like this:

But I don't have the clip. Need to find an alternative.
