From looking at the Extended Warranty Policy pdf “The Warranty cannot be transferred to another owner or vehicle”
Audi Extended warranty - any experiences or advice?
Re: Audi Extended warranty - any experiences or advice?
14k from new... is it even worth a warranty if you don’t use it? For contrast mine is at 63k miles and I have done 9k in the last year.. only expense was service and tyres.. fingers crossed it stays like that
Re: Audi Extended warranty - any experiences or advice?
I retired from work in December (not at State Pension age yet, thankfully!), so I reckon I will be making more use of it now. Yes 14k is low, but my experience is that a low mileage car is not necessarily more reliable than a higher mileage or daily used car.
Have now taken out the All Component Extended Warranty through Audi with £250 xs for £680. I think this is a small price to pay for the peace of mind, especially when you consider how quickly the costs mount up with any repair.
Thanks for all the comments and views on this.

Re: Audi Extended warranty - any experiences or advice?
I had the rear differential replaced under warranty in August last year. My car is a 63 plate registered in Feb 2014 and has covered 37k.
The cost to replace the diff was something like 9.5k, I took it to the dealer as I noticed some oil spotting on the drive, I certainly wasn't expecting it to be a 9k plus job from such a small thing.
The warranty came up for renewal in November and was only £680 for all component cover with a £250 excess, I was very happy with that. I can only recommend it (based on my limited experience to date).
