Stick them on and enjoy I say. Had I had the money to spare then I would have probably gone for the Alpin, but these Conti Winters are pretty fantastic.

I have a 3.5 hour or so drive to Torquay today and back tomorrow, will be good to give them a really good long run.
Current:

23' C8 RS6 Vorsprung - 23' RS E-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung

Gone:

"Brutus"- C5 RS6 Avant - MRC stage 2 - Milltek non-res + 100 cell cats - Wagner ICs - PSS9 - H&R ARBs - OZ Superturismo LM - C6 Custom brakes - HD RNS-E - Various other bits - 555PS/832Nm
"Taz"- C7 RS6 - MRC stage 2 745PS/1095Nm
12' Cayenne Turbo, B7 RS4, S3, Cupra R, XJR, EVO VII, STI8,5,2&WRX, 106 GTI&XSI, other crap.

I've used most "premium" brands of winter tyre over the last decade on both my cars and there's very little difference, they're all excellent.
Of course, none of them are summer tyres, so don't expect that style of grip on a warm dry road, but when things get cold they all work superbly.

Do NOT get runflats. Heavy and poor ride. One of the joys of switching to Audi after years of BMW was no more bloody run flats.
Agree, as an aside the handbook expressly forbids them too!
