You trailering your French shopping trolley to the track then? I see you binned the seatbelts - would need those for an MOT.

You should install one of those £1 key chain slots on the back just for jokes!

I think the dry ice sort of freezes the sound proofing making it brittle so it sort of cracks as you scrape it. Personally I would have saved the money and just used a hot air gun. Same job different technique. Mental man likes it the cold way. Lmfyao.

Correct! But its way way easier this way!!! Freeze, wait 10min, bash with small hammer and it comes of like caramel. Scraping is labour intensive. Dry ice is cheap. £28 for 10kg bag

It will have permanent 5point harness.
Don't think you need standard belts for MOT. Could be wrong.

Additional useful info:

Renault Built-in Diagnostic
With the ignition off press and keep hold of the button at the end of the stalk and turn the ignition on. All the dashboard warning lights will come on and the speedo and rev counter will go through a predefined sequence.

Every time you press the stalk button the digital readout will show information (listed below) each time you press the button some more information will show.

- All the lights lit (shows if you have a failed LED).
- The amount of fuel left in the tank in litres.
- Fuel flow (the engine has to be running. This is in litres per hour)
- Stored faults
t = an injection fault has been detected for a minimum of 4 seconds
J = a fault has been noted on the fuel gauge. It must have disconnected for longer than 100 seconds. The resistance from the fuel tank sensor needs to be between 5 and 350 Ohms.
d = an injection signal fault has been detected
h = an oil level sensor fault has been detected. Resistance from the sensor should be between 6 and 20 Ohms. Any reading over 20Ohms is an open cicuit anything under 3 is a short circuit.

If no faults are logged then dashes will show fixed dashes. Press the reset/trip button to clear the logged faults. Other faults aren't shown on the display.

To stop it turn the engine off or move the key to the off position.

Servicing
Engine oil - 5 litres - 5w40
Gearbox oil - 3.1 litres - 75w80

Geo setting
Front
-2.7 camber
10min toe OUT
Castor standard (fixed)
Rear
-2.5 camber (add -1 shim)
Standard toe (18min toe in iirc) for safer handling

Suspension (This is work in progress on ours as we need to get all the geo done)
Right higher than left to compensate for driver - Front r595 l585 / Rear r594 l597
Rake 30mm front / 45mm rear

This might save you a bit of searching but as always, it's each to their own on these things.
