hehehe Don't ask me. I just copied out a pdf!!

All I know is they dyno's in the ration closest to 1:1 i.e. 5th in this case.

It also means you can go faster in reverse than in first!

Theoretical, stated somewhere or having you been banging it in to the limiter?

p.s. 6th is at least 165mph ;-)

Taken from a road test comparison with M3 so might not be right. They do a BHP per ton and the maths in that 'aint right so who knows. Yes I have hit the limiter a few times it comes in at 7500. Even my wife has hit it in 1st and 2nd. I think its 'cause the thing is so smoooooooooooooth you can't tell it's reving.

From the gear ratios, you can work out %age turns of wheels to engine revs, work of the circumference of the wheels * tyre size and therefore theoretical max speeds and mph/1000k by doing the "simple" arithmetic....

Not that I give a <beep>, was just throwing my 2pence in.

Anyone know how much quicker or slower the B6 in std guise is compared to the B5 with a stage1 on it? No idea how quick my motor is (B5) but I change my "Y's" frequently and almost always run into the car in front without trying....
