To be honest it's not much more of a handful than stock as it's the midrange where it pulls significantly harder & for longer, so you do get an expected wiggle slightly lower in the rev range & this now happens in 4th (& even 5th if damp) as well as lower gears, but in MDM or T/C fully on it's not a worry. Saying that, i'm not even close to being brave enough to switch the T/C off as that's probably a suicidal move.DragonRR wrote:And I bet yours is a bloody handful! It must break traction very, very easily at 50mph or less.W8PMC wrote:As per Dragon's comments, an RS6 with circa 50bhp more & likely a lot more torque (my M5 at 691bhp has the torque limited to just over 800nm).
What i wanted to be sure of was the sat at the lights going nowhere problem that i often had with my DMS tuned E60 M5, however in my F10 I can bury the loud pedal off the line & the car's off into the distance, of course this isn't as straight forward when it's damp etc.
I'm not a drifter so have never been one to spend my time drifting corners or roundabouts so i drive them as i would in any car & thus no issues. I'm unlikely to say anything different, but i've certainly grown very fond of this car & can see me really enjoying piling the miles on as it does everything it should do very well indeed.
