And I bet yours is a bloody handful! It must break traction very, very easily at 50mph or less.
To be honest it's not much more of a handful than stock as it's the midrange where it pulls significantly harder & for longer, so you do get an expected wiggle slightly lower in the rev range & this now happens in 4th (& even 5th if damp) as well as lower gears, but in MDM or T/C fully on it's not a worry. Saying that, i'm not even close to being brave enough to switch the T/C off as that's probably a suicidal move.

What i wanted to be sure of was the sat at the lights going nowhere problem that i often had with my DMS tuned E60 M5, however in my F10 I can bury the loud pedal off the line & the car's off into the distance, of course this isn't as straight forward when it's damp etc.

I'm not a drifter so have never been one to spend my time drifting corners or roundabouts so i drive them as i would in any car & thus no issues. I'm unlikely to say anything different, but i've certainly grown very fond of this car & can see me really enjoying piling the miles on as it does everything it should do very well indeed.

I had heard that the LCi M5 had some improvements to the traction control but couldn't find anything definite on it. I found my M5's TC to be really annoying in poor conditions especially when overtaking.

It sounds like the tune you have is well thought out!

Also been told further improvements occurred on the MY15 & it's certainly more controllable than my MY14 was, but again i've no idea what was changed.

You do of course have to be mindful that it's RWD, so certain points & conditions mean hoofing is ill advised whereas in say the C7 RS6 you can just point & squirt pretty much anywhere, but saying that i don't feel i'm being impaired when i want to make progress. Ask me in 3 months if/when we've had a cold & snowy winter as that opinion may have changed, however i'll just use the wife's car if things get really bad.

Well jell of the 991TTS though, how are you finding it in general? It's top of my replacement car list in 2yrs time.

Generally.. its bloody amazing. Looks stunning from nearly every angle (imo), feels and drives like a sports car, blindingly quick, grips like crazy and still manages to be comfortable (although the ride is pretty stiff!). It is better in every way than I expected ... except in the rattle department. To be fair Porsche consider rattles to be a warranty problem and I have now had 4 days relatively devoid of major annoyances.

There is no other car I have any desire to get right now which is a first!

Just FYI - I cannot fault the level of customer service I've received from Porsche Swindon and Porsche Sheffield.

At DragonRR, your Turbo is just stunning, congrats, my dream car. I have a goal to have one before I turn 40 so maybe after the rs6, fingers and toes crossed! Enjoy.

Good luck Mcma1. It took me 10 years longer although having practical family cars like the err... M6, M5s and so on in the last decade took a precedence. If only I'd known you can ram four adults into a 911! Admittedly they can't get out afterwards due to back pain, neck pain and so on and they do complain a lot... but still.. :biggrin2:

None of my mates are patrolheads so I don't even bother. I usually get it all out of my system at the ADI but I missed it this year. I'm going ham.
