Started to take out the fuel filter, but cant get the number 3 out cos the nut on the other side is turning along with the bold and hits what i think is a drc pipe :audibash: tried some wd40 on it...
The space im working in wont help either...and dont like to work underneath with just my head.
Looks like the filter(Bosch) has never been replaced.

Wow, you've got more than enough space to work in that garage, not sure what you're complaining about.

You still struggling Mav?

I just did mine and like last time I just removed the clips on one side of the filter (out) then removed the pipe from the pump out too. Then just the jubilee clip on the filter itself (put some clamps in the pipes either side too so you don't lose tooth fuel)

i just hate working under my car cos i can hardly focus on the stuff cos its just some 20 cm above my face, cant get the car higher then this...
Is it under lots of pressure? How much fuel is coming with it when i cant use clamps?

Turn in the ignition and it should prime. . Turn it off then do it again. It might turn over for a few seconds but should start almost straight away.

Unfortunately the new fuelfilter didnt solve it, still making odd noises from the rear wheel area now and then.
So next step would be one of the fuelpumps... :( no DIY im afraid...
Will the fuelpump throw up codes? beside the starvation of fuel to the engine on full throttle?
