Si, this is a great opportunity to get in touch with some UK autobox specialists and see if there's anything to be done that doesn't involve migraines with customs paperwork for shipping stuff to and from the UK.

It can't be that difficult.

I would want to see what Sportmile have to input properly on this, considering they are the right side of the planet for us compared with banana boat to Yankland and taxes.

^^^YES^^^

I for one would be more than just interested in an upgraded gearbox exchange service that's on this side of the drink. Or even just a supplier who can provide gearbox upgrade kits.

I had this reply from a company stateside after I enquired about a gearbox upgrade kit:-

Hello ,

We actually have this kit in the booth doing photos today
the upgraded drum is one of the most crucial parts for these rebuilds to last

the "A" clutch hub and bearings to have a lot of problems
typically this is replaced when your drum has failed and wiped out this area of the transmission

5HP24 A Clutch Hub Kit

the Premium Bundled Kit will include:
All gaskets , seals, o-rings, metal clad seals , pump washers , small screens
High Energy Clutch Friction Plates
All internal Steel Plates
Kuhle Heavy Duty A Clutch Drum
"F" Clutch Piston
Transgo Pressure Regulator Valve Upgrade Kit
Filter

This bundled kit sells for $593.88
not sure what the exact shipping would be , but i can have a kit weighed if you would like to proceed.
I would estimate , Express Shipping is going to be roughly $135.00

It would be great if someone (input favourite RS6 specialist company here) would get in touch with
Cascade Transmission Parts or similar to make further enquiries with the view to becoming a supplier of upgraded gearboxes and/or upgrade kits.
Surely it's an opportunity to provide a unique service to this part of the world? :jump_clap:

Where did you dig up this Cascade company? Have you heard any feedback from RS6 owners? Or any other owners?

MRC don't seem interested, they have more "current" cars to work on and have more than enough work I guess.

Agreed, need some owners reviews really. The upgrade sounds interesting, but could be a load of crap.
