New Front Control Arms

Will be interesting to see what the increased castor and camber does.

These were made initially for the S4/RS4 hybrid that Stasis run in the WSC series in the USA.
Now available (if you push) for sale.
Should all fit ok, will find out next week !

Not yet but you never know.
I think I would go for the rear control arms next, will see how the front ones do first.

You really have to get the LSD replaced, it is worth more than saying, no doubt as much as the ohlins you installed.

I second that!! Both Torsen and rear LSD!! You should also consider to have a 22mm rear sway bar to go with it!!

Allow you to adjust camber which is non adjustable as std, except as a function of ride height
Ans also allow you to adjust castor, no adjustment as std.

How long did the Job take to fit these,
Did other arms have to come off to get them in.

OK, got these fitted Wenesday.
Took about 3 hours to get the old control arms off as the 12mm bolts are a PIA to get out as they are usually siezed in, once the bolts are out it takes about 30 mins to remove the old arms and refit the new ones.
Then its a case of trial and error to get the caster and camber set up, this took us about 2 hours to get to a resonable setting.
I am planning to get a full alignment done at Austec Racing in the next 2 weeks to fully check the settings but currently I am running :

6 Deg Castor (4.5 std)
-1.75 Deg Camber
0 toe

The car now feels much more 'pointy' the turn in is significantly improved and the front end now reminds me very much of my old Evo 5
Really need to get it on track to feel if the increased camber has generated the extra grip I am looking for.
Will report back after Silverstone.
