Bad batch of tyres? Hope not, as ive just put 4 of the same on mine. I'll be interested to see if it is the Goodys.

Thats what I am thinking. If it is and you have the same you will be in no doubt if their the same as mine Nearly put it in a ditch the drive home after fitting them. Thanks to the ESP the car stopped me from going down it!

Its was so bad my first thought was that the wheel was coming off!

Mines on a ship in the Med heading to nz at present. I had th Goodys on a week b4 shipping and didnt notice any problems, which included a good thrashing around some b roads out of town. When I get it out of the container in 5 or 6 weeks, I'll have a good look at it.

I assume theres a batch number printed on the tyre somewhere, which might narrow things down if there are other drivers with same prob.

Batch number huh....? Hmmm, I'll be checking for that and am sure mine are an isolated manufacturing error (assuming that is the issue)

Every tyre has the year and week (or is it month?) of production on it.

Mark - mine moves like yours in the video - it's not excessive by any means though - I run the same tyres as you but I run KW's as well - I would be very surprised if it's the tyres mate.

Just done a small vid so you can see what I mean. My back is screwed so I can't put excessive lateral load through it but the tyre moves right up the sides

Why not try contacting Goodyear am sure they will be all over this if think may have supplied dodgy tyres ?

255/35-19 can't remember the make, they re some ditch finders that came on the car.

But unlike yours I cannot even push the car like you did, car or tyre will not move.

Just tried the wobble test on mine and there was barely any movement, it certainly wasn't like yours! It must be the tyres surely?

The only way forward is like Coffey said swap fronts to back, and go for a drive to compare

Arb a possibility but that tyre movement isn't right. I wonder if a couple steel threads have broken on the sidewall.
Just a double check - the tyres are 255/35r19 XL 's ?
