At the end of the day it wasn't there car, the passagers ran off, they could have killed an innocent member of the public, they got karma that day

They could have but didn't
I'm not saying they were angels but saying 'karma' implies that anybody in possession of stolen property deserves / should die in a high impact collision.
Plenty of normal people in legitimately owned cars kill innocent people everyday from driving like a <beep>...
Re: STOLEN 21/12/12
I didn't say they deserved to die, but rather them than innocent people, there's no way I'd stick up for scum that drive stolen cars

Re: STOLEN 21/12/12
The point is 'karma' - or as interpreted by western cultures. 'What goes around comes around '... Implies what came around. (Death) was due by happening to be in a stolen car.
My point is that none of us know the truth or even the bare bones of that particular case so jumping to conclusions, assuming guilt and passing sentence by saying the deserved what they got or in this case deserved to die is quite scary.
To me this is just a slightly more civilised version if this

No proof, no evidence, no due process.
Believe me - I'm not a left wing do gooder. I just think that guilt should not be assumed. Once proven then that's a different story. Hard labour all the way.

They were not my words, I did not say anybody, maybe this should be put to bed, agree to disagreeI'm not saying they were angels but saying 'karma' implies that anybody in possession of stolen property deserves / should die in a high impact collision.
Re: STOLEN 21/12/12
Forgive me but I'm curious to understand your perspective on 'karma' ad you first used the word in this conversation.
My simplistic 'my name is earl' view is 'do bad things, bad things happen'.

Missing the point - the car was reported stolen over a year ago.RS6chris! wrote:Silas wrote:Yes you steal my car you crash and kill yourself, your tough luck

In 12 months that car could have changed hands several times with or without knowledge the car was stolen.
As such there is no proof that the men who died nicked the car or even knew it was stolen. And yet people seem to say its enough that they were travellers that its all ok.

Very sorry to hear about your ordeal. It is such a shame you work hard to enjoy pleasures such as nice cars but have to keep one eye open. I live in south London surrounded by some nasty estates and so far very lucky with all my cars but I think with me not having parking near me I have a new spot most evenings on various roads. I would have hated to go through what you did and so best of luck to you.

The crash was also over a year ago though.adsgreen wrote:

The car was stolen in April 2011 and the crash was in July 2011.

Would agree. Pikeys are some of the shrewdest and unscrupulous mofos I have come across. Its pretty damn obvious they knew the car was stolen. To believe otherwise is laughable.D_K wrote:We are taking about Pikeys here Ads
