Er, have you checked all those fuses to see if one has blown????

According to elsawin it's one of those horizontal ones at the bottom right. Looks like you've got a fair bit of non-standard wiring there.

I've had the coolant fan control module fault since i've had my car and there's nothing wrong with it, quite a common fault apparently when googling. I did post a picture up of it's location somewhere on here.

One of the control modules is built into the fanmotor, the other one is under the chassis member at the front of the car.

P1660 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
Checked all the wiring and fuses so only one item remains.

You can use the Vagcom to test the fans using the output tests. Do they both come on and ramp up?

It doesn't respond at all doing the output test.
A new/old one from ebay should do the trick.
Looking at it's position it's gonna be a tough job replacing it. :/
