Ive has 2 sets of S3 not bucket seats in cars and as dk mentioned they just feel like any other standard leather seat.
If i was buying an s3 or rs3,it having buckets would be a very big factor, just like with the RS4
Right you areaka_dk wrote:yes but the "normal" RS 5 seats are supersport seats and are brilliant both in terms of looks and hold
I wondered how long it would take for the "buckets or not" to come up here.funkygibbo wrote:However there seems to be a general consensus on forums that an RS MUST have buckets.

This has been discussed ad infinitum on the RS4 forum for the last 6 years+ - the conclusion?
Some people want buckets and some don't, so buy what YOU want and what meets YOUR needs. And there's a school of thought that says if most people spec buckets then sports seats will be much rarer and could attract a premium when selling (the law of supply and demand)?

I have to say they look different to me but then I'm amazed I can still see after Christmas!
i had it retro fitted to my car, cost me slightly less than the optionIan_C wrote:Because its only £200 and most buyers would be wanting it. As you say yourself its standard on most cars nowdays.
