Well, got the assymetric 2's on now. Took the knobbly bit down yesterday and boy do the tyres get close to the suspension arm. I had never noticed it before so another big thumbs up to this forum. Got to remember to sort out my tyre pressures out now.

Im still sorting out my pressure, ive already lowered it from 50 psi (3,5 bar) to 43 psi (3 bar) but i find them still too bouncy/hard...

How can you tell if your DRC is knackered?

50 psi

I run 38 if I know I'm going on a spirited run and 40-42 every other day (depending on the ambient).

I think most of us run around 40psi on most of the tyres, otherwise it's just too hard.

If DRC is knackered you'll get, clonking noises over bumps, especially when the system is cold, and uneven handling. Inspection will show traces of hydraulic on the dampers

I am running 36 all round on the little 18's. Would be too hard/rattly otherwise for me on the DRC.

Mine didn't. No oil traces, no clonking, no noises of any kind. However, over small bumps it was unpleasant. A bit like as if my tyres were too hard...

I thought if youre driving at high speeds often, you'll have to have more psi in the tyres...

Off topic...

I remember my knocking noise from the right front side was gone after some hours on a ramp....but came back within a day...

They get hot, therefore start at 38 with a 5psi uplift on heat. Not a lot different to track driving, unless you're using nitrogen.
