19" alloys

Post by paulyd65 » Thu May 06, 2010 12:35 pm

Hi All,

Just a quick questions. Will 19" alloys fir on my S4 B6?

I know that the OEM RS4 alloys don't work because they are too wide but just wondered if the actual 19" diameter was a problem with rubbing on arches, etc.

Cheers.

Paul.

I've got 19x9 ET41. Fits perfectly. No rubbing ever

RS4 wheels don't work because they are a low offset so push the wheels outward to fill the wide RS4 arches

absolutely fine, a little harsher at first because of the cheap bundled tyres, but when you get back to decent boots it settles again. certainly feels sturdier, like there is less sidewall flex as you corner or drift.

Yep, they'll go on with the right tyres, slightly stretched like mine. Basically the same as fitting 5mm spacers to mine, which I'm considering doing

You can go bigger on the wheel diameter as long as you drop down on the profile size of the tyre, so the overall diameter of the wheel and tyre are the same or similar.

I have a calculator file somewhere if required?
