a plus with 115k miles

Post by batty » Sat Jun 05, 2010 9:35 am

this car for sale on pistonheads (no connection to seller)

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1766246.htm

seems tip-top condition - but is it worth £20.5k ??

is this a sign of a buoyant market, or just wishful thinking ??

Nope, paint correction means it won't have swirled paintwork. Its a 'detailing' term. So has been machine polished. Usually costs £400 +

Nothing wrong with it being resprayed. If it was done by audi then it wont affect the 10 year paint warranty. Mine has been nearly fully resprayed under warranty over the past 2 years. First off was an insurance job carried out by audi due to damage caused by an over active road gritter (front 1/2 of the car done on that one inc all the doors), second visit was both rear wings under warranty (zinc inclusions in the metal), third visit was warranty covered roof respray due to bubbles appearing in gutters. the only bit ive not had done is the boot and rear bumper. I'd expect that if anything it would make a sale (not that i'll sell it) more appealing as its a fresh car. Maybe the guy had a very keen eye and abused the warranty in the same way i did.
