this car for sale on pistonheads (no connection to seller)

is this a sign of a buoyant market, or just wishful thinking ??

Nope, paint correction means it won't have swirled paintwork. Its a 'detailing' term. So has been machine polished. Usually costs £400 +Shoppinit wrote:"Paint correction across the whole car" is that a fancy way of saying resprayed?

RE: a plus with 115k miles
the seller has stated on SRS its been reprayed
RE: a plus with 115k miles
it books at £12.5k.....so an £8k margin is ridiculous
RE: a plus with 115k miles
Nothing wrong with it being resprayed. If it was done by audi then it wont affect the 10 year paint warranty. Mine has been nearly fully resprayed under warranty over the past 2 years. First off was an insurance job carried out by audi due to damage caused by an over active road gritter (front 1/2 of the car done on that one inc all the doors), second visit was both rear wings under warranty (zinc inclusions in the metal), third visit was warranty covered roof respray due to bubbles appearing in gutters. the only bit ive not had done is the boot and rear bumper. I'd expect that if anything it would make a sale (not that i'll sell it) more appealing as its a fresh car. Maybe the guy had a very keen eye and abused the warranty in the same way i did.
