What is the point of a boost gauge? *wraps arms over head and runs for cover*
No matter where you go, there you are.

I used one of the diverter valve pipes.

Zsivanny:
Best place to tap into is the line to the fuel pressure regulator. located below the air filter box. Remove the box, the regulator is located on the top left. Remove the short hose install Tee and your good to go. Do not tap into the diverter valve lines. They use some kind of an independent vacuum system. Hope this helps.

Hi Zsivany:
There definitely should be no issues in tapping into the Fuel Pressure regulator vacuum line. There really isn't much margin for error there. So I would try it again and check your connections carefully. Stock max boost pressure I believe is around .8 bar (11.6 psi). I am running a MTM remap, which seems to max out at about 1.2 bar (18 psi). I am using a VDO mechanical boost-vacuum gauge. It works fine for me. I could not find any place to mount it, so I attached it to the drivers side A pillar. Not the best looking, but its functional. Hope this helps.

Is there not an add on for the DIS advertised somewherenwhich let's you show boost in the DIS or on the RNS-E screen?

If so it would make a much more subtle mod IMHO...
