Bluetooth & iPhone - keeps disconnecting and reconnectin

As of a few days ago, I have the above problem. Bloody thing chimes connected and 2-3 mins later it chimes disconnected. A few more mins and connected again. Then disconnects. Does this continuously.

Cannot seem to call out either - it says 'connecting' then chimes disconnected. Have rebooted/reset etc etc.

Now, tried a trusty old Nokia 6310i and seems to work faultlessly with same SIM.

However, Jawbone headset seems to work OK with iPhone, so it's not clear what's wrong here.

Any thoughts/experience/cures?

Me too, changed the handset and all good now.

Hmm, so despite headset working correctly, you suspect iPhone not Audi BT module?

I had the guys change the module and it made no differance, changed the handset and all ok

I've had the same happen on several occasions (with a 6310i incidently) I eventually get it back after several "deleting old phone and starting from scratch attempts" but have not found a definitive cure.

Very interesting to read this! I also have exactly the same issue with my iPhone 3gs and my bluetooth module, I was thinking that it maybe the handset thats faulty rather than the module! do you also sometimes get really bad feedback noises just before a call connects when dialing out? im going to try and get my iPhone replaced and will then let you know if its fixed the issue!
