Nah not yet. Window still gets stuck going back up. Been a bit busy with work. Must try to find that Youtube clip again where the bloke changes the little clip on the window guide. Still haven't got the faintest idea how to get the door trim off!

Whilst the Ultra 501 are fantastic, easy to fit and have no fault code issues, these http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/1157-stop-ta ... 1_132.html cause DIS problems

At the risk of being an ass, can someone talk me through the replacement process? Not quite as simple as you would expect, even though its just a bulb! How do you even get to 'the bits?'

i put mine in last week, took around 15mins, ok you move the 2 metal clips from the back of the light so you can then pull the back of the light cover out a bit, you are a bit restricted as this only comes out a few inches, then locate the side light, i put the side light on quickly to check i was pulling the right one out. Then you have to ease you fingers to the side light bulb holder which is black plastic, then once you got hold of it just pull it until it comes out.

Got it at last, and by Odin's Raven that's a fiddly job! Well worth the wounds as its a vast improvement on the old yellas. Thanks mate.

What`s all involved I also would like to change all interior light bulbs to led ones in my rs6 c5 I realise there are some posts on this but its still not clear to me which bulbs numbers suppliers how many etc are needed and making sure they are the correct ones so don`t come up with a fault. All help appreciated.
Thanks.

From my experience the car seems to tolerate the front side-lights being changed to LED, but are less so with the rears. One bulb works OK, but then you do the other side and then DIS shows an error. Modern cars just cannot hack these low-current bulbs very well (my 2006 Panda shows exactly the same symptoms) and although you can buy 'hot resistors' to put in series with the LED bulbs to get over the problem, you lose all benefit of the micro-current draw advantages that LED bulbs offer and add complexity (and heat!) into the mix....

I have read the posting of how to remove the side lights, but I can't seem to get the bulb holder out - does it turn before you pull it, or is it just a straight pull out as it won't shift and I fear I will snap something....

Dearer than some I've seen on ebay but no fault codes/problems and so much better than the original ones.

Same here, I use them and am pleased with the results.
