turbo pressure control exceeded?

Post by niall_wallace » Sat May 02, 2009 10:31 pm

Hi all, noob alert. Having minor difficulties with my S4, basically it was leaking boost, found a big hole in the TBB which has now been replaced, all was fine for a while but once again it is cutting boost.

It is coming up with a code, saying that the boost limit is being exceeded intermittantly.
I have pressure tested the inlet system myself and i cannot find another leak, is it possible that the pressure control valve is faulty (n75??)??

any advice appreciated cheers

Niall.

N75's do go faulty. Do you have a boost gauge fitted? Faulty N75's often cause boost spikes which would be easy to see on a gauge.
