Looks very nice and a top spec. But I was wondering why only 502hp (ONLY he says!!!).
550 Lbft seems a good figure - is this a larger increase over a 460 MTM car in comparison with the HP figures.
I've no idea what torque mine is but this is the key factor. Im guessing it would give a 460 car a good whooping...

I was under the impression that a FMIC could yield 30hp, giving around 490.
yours has the RS6 blowers and other nice little bits and bobs that i presume add HP or keep temps down - so why only 502.
Dont be offended! Im just quite surprised at such small increases and probable expense to eeek out those extra neddys after the initial unleashing via remap and breathing.

OR is that at the WHEELS...in which case - mint!

I'm not sure... most RR at similar power levels. And anyway mine was MTM, now MRC remap. Doug indicated it was good for around 460. Never had it rolled though, but even then there are differences between the rollers out there....

Fair point though! I have some rollers about 1 minute from where I live - just never got round to a power run!!

my car makes arelitively low bhp because the airflow is restricted due to 3 things.

1 intake pipes. still using std k04 intakes as i couldnt get hold of the mrc ones

2 turbo inlets. rs6 turbos use the same size inlet as a k04... mrc usually put a larger inlet on the turbo for more flow

3 downpipes. im using the milltek 2.25" ones instead of the 3"ones that mrc use.

on a turbo car when its being mapped theres always a trade off between boost /timing. more boost =more bhp but that also means you have to have good airflow. if you want torque then you back off the boost and increase the timing instead. looking at the dyno graph lucas posted in another thread of their 592 bhp car my car makes more torque. another thing to add is the wrc rally cars have air intake restrictors to cap the bhp but they make shed loads of torque. hope this helps. jim

Whats the car sound like with a ITG panel and cut out air box?
More whistles, turbo sound and genetally boomier?

the itg filter is just a straight panel replacement and the hole is at the front of the airbox so i dont think anymore noise comes from there although the car does sound like a train.
