Definitely needs sorting. Looks like the N75 boost controller which if correct is an easy and relatively cheap fix. Do a log of retardation on each cylinder too.

I still think it is the N75. Simply put the map appears to be asking for less than 1bar boost and the result is a load more which is poorly controlled. Any other opinions all?

Is yours a "west" stage 2 tony???? It was way down on power last year but much better after the maffs & n75.

Best have another look me thinks ...

Hi Grizz :)
Think they label it a Stage 3 but not the same as other stage 3's think other companies term stage 3 turbo upgrade, West Stage 3 Engine & Gearbox remap full milltek and high flow cat assembly, yeah it was down on power before mafs and n75 and much better after pulling 503 after your fettling

Thanks Joules, doesn't seem to be running a lot of boost then does it? Grizz did check the dv's when it had the mafs and n75 replaced think he said they were upgraded from original but tthat the 1's on it were still prone to issues with sticking

Thanks Joules again, alot easier to see now, chart I selected in Excel for some reason was not plotting correctly, thought boost on standard map ran at about 1 bar? Perhaps Grizz will be along shortly to show me the error of my ways, either way think I need to get the old girl booked in with the Meister to see if the dv's are FUBAR'd and need replacing

Hi,

I put my car on the rolling road yesterday and got the following results.

I have the Custom Code Phase 1 remap with standard cats and exhaust. When the map was put on last summer (by Grizz) I had new MAF's, DV's and N75 valve to make the most of it. A service and two new intercoolers also helped.

The run was done immediately after a 4 hour drive so the air intake temperature was sky high (>50oC)

I am very pleased with the torque figure of 560ftlb (760Nm) and I am sure the power of 493 BHP (367Kw) would easily pass 500 with some time to cool the engine bay.

Boost pressure was good, peaking at 1.1 bar and slowly tailing off to about 0.8. It is a shame just under 100 horsies are lost in the transmission.
