My S4 and it's new guise!

Post by K1Mac » Thu Sep 18, 2008 11:30 pm

Having had my S4 for nearly a year (Nov) from the outset I started changing it to how I wanted it.

how I got it.

first was some tints

Image

then it needed dropped

and it also neede to stop better, the std set up just never filled me with confidence

then it needed the rims fitted that I knew before agreeing to buy the car had to be on

Image

following all this a trip to see Doug was booked the day before I went to the Ring, all fluids changed out, full service, miltek system and a custom remap :D :D :D

had an awesome time over at the ring and the car surpassed my expectations!!!

it had a few good runs while at GTi International this year, sadly it didn't like being launched of the clutch prob still the original jobbie, but managed to get 14.06 ¼ and 5.09 - 60, not to shabby for a daily :D

then following the inspiration from washing it, a new guise was planned.

could this be the 1st white B5 S4 in the UK???

Nice!
Although white was an original colour option. I saw one for sale a while back (with cloth interior!). I believe you could get pearl white or casablanca white, one of which might have been US specific. I don't think white suits most cars, but a few (B5 S4, Mk5 GTI, R8 etc...) look fantastic!

I thought it was just thediesels that came in the pearl? pretty sure you don't get S's or RS's option in white!

I also had an issue with the allingment of the bonnet to the headlights and a small corroded area on one of the wings which resulted in me replacing both front wings and bonnet (from Audi) I have spent a little over £7k

Such a cool car. Not sure if i like the audi logo in black though. I like the rest of it though.
Why do they call it rush hour when nothing moves!?!

Standard S4, but not for long.

another thing that I was considering is having a white pinstripe on the rim of the wheel to give it a bit more definition, like you get with the red lip CH's & LM's.

I was going to get a mate to p/shop the wheels back to silver also as they look a little lost.

thoughts?

If it was me, I'd leave as is, I like the look. I prefer black wheels on a white car than a black one.

WOW.... really nice....... you have put some serious cash into the car... I know the price of paintwork.

I like it.
