I've had a good look through the info on the forum regards understeer and toe/camber/castor etc but wanted to ask again for any recent developments or advice....
I want to try and reduce the inherent understeer on the car - especially on-power understeer by tweaking the geometry. Has anyone any proven recommendations?
The car is presently stock, with new wishbone bushes, top mounts and a recent 4 -wheel alignment. There will be a 19mm Neuspeed RARB with poly bushes fitted in 3 weeks courtesy of Corey at Quattronics.
Any suggestions welcome.

Standard settings with -1o camber works really well. Great turn in with reduced understeer. Wish I had tried it years ago

Hi Angus,
Personally, I can recommend the Neuspeed 19mm and the 'kit' that comes with it. I've only been driving with it on the weakest setting which I think is still about 3x RS2 torsional stiffness.
Anyway, it really reduces understeer, especially on power understeer when coming out of bend and has not noticiably made it any more oversteery - yet.....
A bit less body roll through bends too - I'm considering upping the setting to medium next....
I think it is a good upgrade.

Bilstein dampers with the rear modifacation I've been told work a treat with oe springs.

I'm on OEM stock suspension + Neuspeed RARB.
I've heard that the S4 billie's work well, it's just that I had Billstein on a previous car and they were hard as nails.... I'm just a bit concerned that fitting them to the RS2 will turn it into a bit of a bone shaker...
If anyone has them fitted with stock springs pls let me know!

I am still at -1o and all is well. The tyre wear is not an issue as I was not taking into account the abnormal wear from not having the whole alignment spot onalastairg wrote:Defo more tyre wear but handling sharp. Just front mind. I will go to -0.5o front camber next time round

Angus when I mentioned to Doug my ARBs were getting old as yours ?should I replace...he laughed. But did mention the S4 option for a handling upgrade

Hey people, I think I have decided that I will opt for Standard BOGE shocks all round, and H&R Springs......................wait for it................. is this a good idea? Lloyd mentioned Bilstiens are really stiff shocks, so if I have H&R springs too, its gonna be a bit of a bone shaker, so im thinking that I will go for Boge Shocks, as they are easy to fit, and then Lower H&R Springs, making it a firm but not too firm ride.
Im running 18"x 8.5" Cup 1 Porsche Wheels with Pirelli PZERO NERO 225/40/18"s so its a harder ride already!
Any comments?

Fraser, fully re-freshed OEM is probably not a bad place to start, although I think your car will visually look the best when on H&R's. Have a look for photos of Sherv RS2 on s2forum. this will show you what I mean. he was the previous owner of your wheels.
I personally am seriously considering opting for bilstein at some point this year and will talking to Rob GT500 for help on the groove machining.

GT500 is running cup 1's 245 35 18 with RS2 HaR's and Bilstein sport springs.
Yep the ride is firm, and not for everyone.
But on my own car I've never been happy with to much roll on roundabouts, and to much lift on accelaration, and to much dive on braking.
I've been in GT500's car on the set up above, and it gets rid of the above.
Me thinks I'm about to copy GT500
