Wheel Spacers
Hi guys,
Thinking about a set of wheel spacers to fill out the arches on my B6 S4. Anyone got any advise on which ones are best? Anyone got any pics?

RE: Wheel Spacers
I would use either H&R or Eibach myself
Both are excellent quality and H&R ones are TUV approved. And both AFAIK are hubcentric which is what you want

RE: Wheel Spacers
There some pics in the RS4 B5 section, under "New wheels", but obviously they're on a RS4, plus on different wheels.

I asked a similar thing in this thread, and got a reply from philipwalker, who said...

Hope that helps.

He (by the looks of it?) runs or works for these guys...You could fit a hub center 10mm spacer, say Eibach or H+R . Generally any spacer less than 10mm does not have the center lip for the wheel to mount on.
It should not put any extra loading in the components, it would be the same a lower et number wider wheel.
Ring or PM me if you need a set.

Re: RE: Wheel Spacers
If you go to the TT Shop website IIRC they have pics of H&R hubcentric spacers on the hubs if that is what you are looking for. You will also need / get longer H&R TUV approved bolts if using H&R spacers.kaisersolsay wrote:Thanks for that. You got any pics with them on?
MTM also supposedly do hubcentric spacers ITH.

IMO your just paying the extra premium for the MTM badge!
They are more than likely made for them by either H&R or Eibach. Both AFAIK are TUV approved.

RE: Re: RE: Wheel Spacers
What does TUV mean?

RE: Re: RE: Wheel Spacers
TÜVs - Technischer Überwachungs-Verein, or Technical Monitoring Association in English!
It's the German motoring standards agency. See wikipedia

The MTM spacers actually have a bigger diameter and cover the entire face of the hub whereas H&R's there is a 5 mm lip round the circumference.R33V-Spec wrote:IMO your just paying the extra premium for the MTM badge!

What size would you recommend for a standard B6 S4? Don't want to foul the arches, but want to fill them out a bit.
I have the same, 10 mm hubcentric H&R with matching bolt.P_G wrote:I had 10mm hubcentric spacers largely because of the RS4 front brake upgrade I had done to get the Avus wheels back on; however at the same time when looking straight down from above the wing the edge of the tyre and wheel were in line with the edge of the arch.
The whole car looks better, well worth doing IMO.
