Not sure if it is that exact code that gets thrown, but on the B5 it is common for the connection under the seat to cause the airbag light. Remove, clean, refit an clear the code and see if it stays away. Or just rest and see if it stays awa like mine has.

Is communications stable with the other systems in your car (Engine, ABS, Instruments, etc?). I.e. is the airbag module the only one that gives you problems, or are you having issues with all the systems in the car?
