Just fitted my new MAF.... max reading now 194
Hmmm ... still not ideal; should be between 210 and 220g/s for a healthy stock S4.

i thinks it's 0.8bar so as Vag-com records the ambient pressure of the atmosphere as well it should read around 1800mbar for a standard car

My MAF

Post by s4sean » Sun Jul 15, 2007 8:18 pm

Umm.. interesting stuff.
I took a max MAF on mine of 233.5
Mine is standard, AFAIK and according to QST who serviced it.
So is my MAF screwy?
But what's the % range for power as standard on this car?
If 10% then just a good one.
My boost readings all standard, requested 0.8 above ambient, acheived 0.8...

Quess I need to FATS test too.
Will try tomorrow.

Got 227.75 today on a std car as far as I know.

Also got peak boost of .9 bar and peak requested (never seen before I might add) of 1.02 bar!

That was on my first run before I guess heat soak from hanging around for a clear road took over.

Still manged 223 and peak boost of .83 bar iirc (laptop off at the mo).

I wonder if the current atmospheric conditions are having some effect on air pressure.
