Adam,

The central locking codes can be cleared and I would consider getting a new alarm sounder, The engine codes relating to the system too lean would IMO indicate a dead MAF and not sure about the coolant temp one but if it's the sensor I think it is I would get it changed out for the later blue one iirc which is the after run pump mod
but I could be wrong and will stand corrected by some of our more knowledgable fellow drivers

alarm - no communication is a knackered siren, probably the back up batteries have failed, new siren required or try to clag a seperate NiMH battery pack on the outside of the sounder to provide the back up power. you won't have any sound from the siren.

the others are fairly normal, i think the key 1 - adaption limit surpassed is because you haven't used the spare key for a while, pretty normal really

pull the trim off the right hand side of the boot, there's a well down the side behind the wheel arch, siren is bolted to the boot floor just under the rear light

The coolant sensor is also a 'known' weak part.

i had to do this on mine after gavster hooked me up with vagcom, my temp needle would occasionally drop off as well - it should be a 4 pin sensor marked "coolant temp sender f18/f54" on the pic. i picked up the blue sensor for the afterun pump too and did both while i was there. mine was well crusty and an arse to pull out once the retaining clip was slid out.

I know it as the G2/G62 sensor. Not sure why it is shown on that page as F18/F54.
