This points to the car "Nannying " with the ESP to me.t_urbo wrote:No Difference under the above conditions with regard to the sport button.hanbury wrote:My car was also built April 07 but I can't say I've noticed any of the above in my first 1,000 miles.
One thing I wonder though, is there any difference in sport mode?
Although i have noticed that if you drive the car hard and change up on the rev limiter it hesitates as you hit the gas in the next gear (regardless of the sport button being on or off) but when the ESP is off it does not do it.
So i now drive most of the time with the ESP .

I think there is no difference if the ESP is off or fully off in sraight line , but you can feel it on the track or if you try to do some driftt_urbo wrote:
The hesitation goes weather the ESP is partially off or fully off.

On track it needs to be fully off otherwise it will brake for you when you drift.RS4_B7 wrote:I think there is no difference if the ESP is off or fully off in sraight line , but you can feel it on the track or if you try to do some driftt_urbo wrote:
