There are some exceptions. my evotech chip showed 345g/s for s4 maf. I use ecu-x to log and it has no maf limits.

345g/s with vag-com?

evotech chip - is that a tuner/ecu re-map?

yep 345 with vag-com at the time. IIRC AMD maps look like evotech maps or so I heard.

thanks - wonder why I'm maxing out vag-com at 335g/s then ...? (maybe a newer s/w version?)

450-470g/s is massive - nice!

I don't think you're maxing vag-com. You are maxing your code or sensor.

S4TAN, remember I'm getting near 300 with my AMD map ;) Not that the car is giving anywhere near the power that figure leads you to believe

Just for the record. I have Mihneas code now. Evotech and possibly AMD scale their maf values up.

335 is the maximum that the S4 MAF can measure. Mine hits 335 at 5K and stays there till over 6.2K

Yeah, that's what I was told initially, then someone else told me that it was a limitation of what vag-com could register from the ecu rather than a limitation of the sensor itself ... oh well - whatever ...

... which kinda begs the next question: If the S4 MAF sensor maxes out at 335 does this limit the fueling/timing/spec boost that the ECU can request (due to it only ever being able to "see" 335 g/s as the max air mass/flow) ???

An S4 sensor can't read over 335g/s and vag-com can't read anything over 364.08g/s on any ECU/sensor ;)
