No, I passed on the rollers as the car was too new. I have taken the average figures of the 6 cars that have been done (all were between 305 and 310).david7m wrote:Was it rollered at 308bhp?

Interesting! Did Revo confirm that the issues with the fuel pump and DV were only for your car or is this a general problem that any S3 (8P) is likely to see when being remapped?coxw wrote:Hi
I hung off the wheels as I was having a few 'issues' with the car that needing sorting. I was suffering what seemed to be inconsistent performance, and as I waited for the car to run in / adapt to the new map I was aware that actually the performance gains I had been hoping for weren't there.
I've subsequently had the car analysed on a rolling road at Silverstone, and it was found to be turning out approximately 282bhp and NOT the 300+bhp that MTM figures suggested. As you can imagine, this has not enticed me to go running back for more products.
I have since given the car for a whole week to Revotechnik in Northamptonshire, and they have crafted a map which means the car is now putting out 301bhp. There is a fuelling issue as the pump cannot deliver any more fuel, so Revo are trying to source me a new fuel pump from the States which should allow an aggressive map to reach well over the 310bhp mark. Forge are about to send me one of their 2.0T FSi DV's as well, because the increased boost running on the Revo map is causing the OE DV to 'chatter' under full load, so some of the boost pressure is escaping. Forge hope to have the new DV out of testing in the next couple of weeks. I have also purchased a Revo Select controller for greater flexibility and secuurity functionality.
I'm waiting to hear on the Milltek exhaust system. I am dubious as my last full system with race cats on my Leon Cupra R was good, but very expensive for the marginal gains. I am also reluctant to lose the stealthy quiet of the OE pipes, as I don't want any monotonous droning.
I am also going to speak to Dialynx about the uprated Haldex controller as the car is very difficult to launch hard from standing start. There is a split second where the front wheels realise they can't cope with the power on tap, then the Haldex system spins the power to the rear wheels. It must be costing nearly a second on the 0-60 times!!! (I'm not a traffic light junkie, its just a point of annoyance that the car is difficult to launch). The 60% rear drive of the performance Haldex controller 'should' resolve this.
Hence no new wheels or tints! Other than that I'm really enjoying the car. She's beautiful and so soothing to drive on long journeys. Loving it much more than I thought I would.
