Conventional wisdom suggests a drop of a couple of pounds in pressure for the track. This will give you more grip on the corners. However, the downside is this will wear your tyres more, especially on the outer edges and this will be more extreme the more tread you have on the tyres. Ideally you want to go out on the track with really worn and nearly life expired tyres with minimal tread. Then you won't get so much wear relatively to the tread blocks.What tyre pressure i should have for the day? i have oem wheels.
