RS6 Calipers -> RS6 or B7 RS4 Disks/Pads?
I have never fitted them to an rs6 - only s4s and rs4s with big brake conversion - but I am sure I can get them on. Parts are only £70 so worth a try. They should make the wear a bit more even.

Up to now I have stuck with the "standard" (if you could warrant calling them that!) solid/ventillated discs; I have had a front set warp previously (XD reduce the risk of this), but the last set wore evenly without issue really so I had no axe to grind.
I have never had to change the solid rears before, but they looked visually shocking (very corroded around the edges), they looked that bad I feared that it would be a fail point for the cars first MOT but it did pass.
So it was time for a full set, my dilemma being the standard (solid/ventilated) or plus (cross-drilled/ventilated)... after a lot of ringing around and a few posts http://rs246.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB ... ic&t=56795 I decided on a full set of OEM Brembo cross-drilled. Very happy, both performance and aesthetics... as far as brakes go, they do look very good indeed! I will tell you in 20,000 miles the comparable durability feedback!

Any ideas on how to bed these in?? I have talked to many people and looked at a few websites, everyone is talking about different ways and this may be due to different pads/disk setups ...
The latest from the garage who fitted them are saying normal, to low driving, braking for a hundered or so miles, then ease in some more power breaking for a few times, ie 60-30 and letting them cool down....
Anyone bed'ed in this setup successfully???

Interesting... The stoptech guidelines are far more savage than that for a performance setup, when I discussed with Doug, we settled on a more milder process as soon as I had had them fitted... breaking ten times from 90-70mph in relatively quick succession with medium breaking pressure followed by 90-50mph ten times with medium to firm pressure, not stamping on the brakes and certainly not coming to a standstill until things had had time to cool down.
It seems visually and by feel that it worked ok, but as you say, it is difficult to determine as its so subjective.

Cheers Steve, that seems a lot quicker than 100 odd miles of town driving. Now I just need to find a road to do that on
which can be a problem out here due to the fact that their no motorways here!!! doh.
I assume after all that, and letting it cool down u have not gone mad with them but continue to drive and brake in a sensible ish manner??
